"Caffé Sospeso" is a tradition that was born in Naples in the late 1800s, it's a charitable act where someone would order a sospeso - paying the price of two coffees but only receiving one, leaving one to be suspended until later. Anyone could then inquire if there was a sospeso available and they would be served a coffee free of charge. This tradition has been handed down through generations as a thoughtful and compassionate way to look out for others.

We recognize that as a company that we have a responsibility to support those who support us, from our dedicated fair trade ingredient suppliers to our loyal customer base and the communities they interact with. This is why will operate and donate to our own Café Sospeso - a charity where we donate a portion of our profits to support local social, cultural and economic initiatives across the communities we operate in.
